NORDIK GREEN COMMITMENT

The Nordik Green Commitment was created with the hopes of strengthening our promise to act responsibly towards the environment, our community and sustainable development, through concrete and measurable eco-friendly actions. Environnement Le Nordik cares about preserving the environment and natural resources. Right from the start, our business has taken environmental measures by recuperating the land’s raw material such as wood, rock and soil by reusing them throughout the construction and landscaping of the site. Furthermore, the various buildings are all highly energy efficient, thanks to a natural resource recuperation system and highly rated insulation.   Through its actions, Le Nordik aims to sensitize its clientele even more to the importance of the protection of the environment and to sustainable economic and social development.  Le Nordik – Nature Spa pays special attention to the full utilization of general resources. Here is a selection of the current and future actions taken by our company: Current actions: Recuperation of all recyclable material for reuse Recycling of paper, plastic and other materials Recycling of waste water to be reused  in flushing systems Energy and electricity management with timers and software systems Recuperation of rain water to be used for watering the plants Printing on recycled paper for certain documents Use of renewable energy Projects currently under way: Composting of plant and natural based waste Use of geothermy throughout the buildings With the Nordik Green Commitment, we commit to remain proactive in the development and use of the latest technologies that respect the environment and the community, and to improve the efficiency of our facilities in order to preserve this natural environment, at the very core of our operations.
