What are your opening hours?
Our opening hours are 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday and 9 a.m. to Midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, rain or shine, year-round. We are closed December 25th. If you have a massage or a body treatment, we recommend you arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment.
What should I bring?
We provide a towel and a locker. You should bring your bathing suit and sandals. We would recommend you bring as well your bathrobe, or you can rent one for the day, and reusable bottle. Water fountains are available on site. Items such as bathing suit, sandals, reusable water bottle (glass containers prohibited), bathrobes can also be purchased at the front desk.
What is the thermal experience?
The thermal experience allows you to use our facilities for a full day. You can enjoy our 7 baths (hot, cold and temperate), 8 unique saunas, infinity pool, outdoor and indoor relaxation areas as well as a restaurant & lounge with terrace. Please note that in order to maintain a relaxing environment and to preserve the quality of your experience, access to the thermal experience may be limited, which could result in a wait period.
Is there a minimum age to enjoy your services?
The site is reserved to 16 years and over.
- Is the thermal experience included with the purchase of a massage?
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel and/or reschedule a massage or body treatment without charge until 24 hours before your appointment. A $95 +tx cancellation fee will be applied if the cancellation is within 24 hours of the scheduled massage and or treatment.
Which services are refundable by my private insurance?
Since all of our massage therapists are accredited, they can issue receipts for insurance purposes.
Should reservations be made?
Please note that we do not take reservations for the thermal experience, nor the Källa treatment. For the massages and/or treatments, we recommend reserving two weeks ahead for best availability. You can reserve online or by calling 819-827-1111. Your credit card number will be asked, only to confirm the reservation. You can enjoy a massage and or a treatment even if you do not wish to partake in the thermal experience.
Since your facilities are outdoors, what happens in rain or poor weather?
The thermal experience activity takes place year-round, rain or shine. Our facilities have been designed so that you can enjoy your experience regardless of the weather. In case of a thunderstorm, the baths may be closed.
Can we eat on site?
We have a restaurant open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. We also have three terraces where you can eat a mouthful made by our chefs or enjoy a drink with some friends! As the restaurant is an integral part of the overall relaxation experience, the restaurant is exclusively for Spa customers. Please note that food cannot be brought into the spa.
Are there any rules I should know about before coming to the spa?

If I want to order something at one of the restaurants on site, do I have to carry my wallet with me?
No, we have a system allowing you upon your arrival to preauthorize an amount from your credit card to your electronic bracelet (the same one for your locker). It is not only convenient, but safe!
Can pregnant women come to the spa?
Coming to the spa during pregnancy is not only an enjoyable experience, but it provides the greatest benefit in relieving many ailments. Our different services offer benefits such as relieving tension, easing tired legs and improving sleep. Can I get to the spa by public transportation?
The STO's (Société de transport de l’Outaouais) line 14 offers this service to Chelsea, twice a day, in late afternoon. The nearest stop is located on the Old Chelsea Road, just passed Nordik Spa-Nature. For more information, see the STO website. To return, a member of our team will be happy to make arrangements with a taxi company for you.
Can I receive care if I am under medication or suffering from certain health problems?
If you are taking medication or have particular health problems (such as cancer), therapeutic treatments are perhaps best avoided. A note from your doctor may be requested by your massage therapist. You must make your health condition known, in particular by providing accurate answers on the health sheet we ask all clients to fill out before their massage.The thermal experience may present risks for people suffering from angina, heart or respiratory problems, diabetes, hyper- or hypotension, especially when these conditions are viewed as serious and/or uncontrolled.
In case of doubt as to your condition, ask for your doctor's opinion.
Is it necessary to get fully undressed to receive a massage?
Our therapist team works professionally, with the greatest respect for each individual. You may wish to know that a sheet covers you at all times to respect your privacy. Only the area being massaged is uncovered. It is more comfortable to receive a massage when no clothing is worn, but we respect the choice of our clients who prefer to keep clothes on.
Can women breastfeed at the spa?
Of course. However, please know that the baths, saunas and relaxation areas on the spa site are reserved for guests 16 and older. Our manager on duty will be happy to show you our adapted room in the main building for you to breastfeed your baby. Please ask our manager upon your arrival so we can indicate the place beforehand.
The expiration date for my gift Certificate approaches or has already passed, is it still good?
Nordik Spa-Nature honors all valid gift certificates and this, regardless of their expiration date. However, please note that after one year from the date of purchase, it is valid only for its monetary value.
Do you have group rates?
Yes, we have created turnkey options just for groups, to complete your visit and make your life easier! All those options include our "concierge" service: everything is organised for you and ready for your arrival at the spa. Have a look at our Group reservations page for more details.
Do you have a recognition program?
We are currently working on a recognition program. More details will be available in 2016.

Do you have a meeting & reception room?
Yes, we have two lodges, contemporary cottages located right next to the spa that is perfect for both meetings and cocktail gatherings. They can be rented for a day or half a day.
I lost my insurance receipt, is it possible to get another one?
Yes, we can issue a new receipt for insurance purposes. Please send an email to email@example.com with your name, the date of you appointment and your mailing address. We will send your receipt by mail, within a delay of 7 to 10 days for Quebec postal adresses and 10 to 20 days for deliveries outside Quebec.
